To Professor Tolkien, who shaped my childhood like no other, and whose writings continue to forge the philosophy and theology of my adulthood. Every day my mind rings with a phrase or idea of his: not all who wander are lost, and I wander in a world made more beautiful to me by the way his works have given me to think.
I have nothing more to say than with a child’s insistence: I love you, and I love your memory.
